The Trust has a team of highly-skilled consultants and other clinical staff to care for our patients. There are outpatient clinics and inpatient wards for care of people with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions and injuries. Waiting times can be found on the nhs.uk website. Patient Information leaflets are also available for a range of conditions and treatments and the Trust has a patients' charter which it abides by.

The Trust also has a research centre and library on the UHL site and provides a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), providing help, advice and support for patients, carers and relatives. The on-site Abacus nursery provides day-care for NHS staff and the local community.
